What I do at The New York Public Library
As the Senior Manager, General Accounting, Ann oversees all financial accounting operations handled within the General Accounting group including cash management, receivables, other assets, fixed assets, and interfaces with payroll and accounts payable. She provides oversight of the month-end closing process, ensuring that journal entries are properly and timely posted to the general ledger. and that all transactions are in accordance with GAAP and Library policies.

The New York Public Library provides many opportunities for growth and learning. It also allows one to serve the patrons who utilize the many important services the Library provides, whether they work directly with the public, or behind the scenes in an administrative capacity.
Who am I?
Since 2006, Ann has occupied various roles within the General Accounting group, beginning as an Accounting Analyst and working her way up to her current position. Before joining the Finance department she managed various retail establishments including the online gift shop at the New York Public Library, as well museum gift shops and major retailers such as Staples and Genovese Drug Stores. She holds a B.B.A from Baruch College.
