As a certified public librarian and library branch manager who has served in the New York Public Library for over ten years, I have developed a deep understanding of the essential role that libraries play in fostering literacy, education, and the overall development of the community. Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated a commitment to creating inclusive and welcoming spaces where patrons of all backgrounds feel safe and empowered to both learn and explore.
