Why The New York Public Library
This role offers an opportunity to work at one of the most prestigious institutions in NYC. The New York Public Library is the second largest in the United States with nearly 53 million items and 92 locations. The Library for the Performing Arts Library is a great place to work because it is located on the Lincoln Center Plaza campus along other performing arts institutions. I enjoy working in service of our community and interacting with colleagues throughout the organization, as we collectively support patrons and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
Additionally, the New York Public Library offers many opportunities for advancement on its website (www.nypl.org) and a great benefit package, which includes Union representation, a pension, and tuition assistance.
