What I do at The New York Public Library
Mary is the Head of Conservation at the New York Public Library responsible for special collections conservation and collections care and a team of conservators and technicians specializing in bound, flat, and photographic materials. Conservation at NYPL serves the Library's three research centers, the Humanities and Social Sciences in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem, and the Library for the Performing Arts in Lincoln Center.

Who am I?
Prior to joining NYPL in 2018, Mary worked at the Library of Congress Conservation Division, Harvard Libraries Weissman Preservation Center, and at the Morgan Library & Museum Thaw Conservation Center.
